Agri Segretum 'Freghino' Umbria Rosso 2022

Freghino is a classic everyday wine and perfect by-the-glass. Once opened, the 1 liter can sit happily on your shelf for at least a week. It’s a lighter blend of Sangiovese (70%), Colorino (20%) and Malavasia Nera (10%) grapes, hand picked during mid harvest. The grapes perform alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks. After 9 days of maceration on its skins, the wine continues ageing in stainless steel before its release about 9 months later. Freghino is still true to it’s Sangiovese roots, but a lighter, easy drinking red. 

Medium-bodied, with wild berries and medium tannins.
