Nathan Kendall Dry Riesling 2019

This Riesling is a study in balance for this grape. The nose is waxy with bright green apples and the earthiness of orchard fruits. Savory notes of flecked pepper almost bounce off the bracing acidity that wafts up before you take a sip. The tannins on the palate are a frame or threshold the natural acidity bangs up against but never penetrates giving this wine wonderful textural complexity. It’s such a balanced wine, and its drinkability borders on epic.
