Sassopra Neboski 2022

From Italy. 80% Sangiovese and 20% Ciliegiolo. 1/3 of the grapes go through Carbonic Maceration for 5 days and 2/3 in large wooden vats – whole bunches and naturally of course. The skins are then pressed and the must is moved to fiberglass tanks where the wine is left on the yeast for 8 months before it is released. Nothing added, nothing removed. Yes please!

Notes of Cherry. Juicy but finishes on the dry side.
